Xiaomi has just announced the new hybrid smartwatch dubbed as the Xiaomi Mijia Quartz Watch, which under the Mijia ecosystem in China. This Mijia Quartz watch looks of a classic watch but added with some extra features. It is especially for those who just need smartwatch but do not want to charge their watch daily.
The Mijia Quartz Watch comes with the 316L stainless steel body with mineral coated glass on the top, the company is claimed that the glass on this watch is said to have a 3X more hardness than the sapphire glass. Tempered glass that protects the watch from minor scratches. It has an easy interchangeable 20mm straps and is waterproof up to 3 ATM pressure up to 30 meters.
The dial of the watch comes with standard 40 mm diameter and is 3.2 thin mm at its thinnest point. This watch sports a dual dial where the large dial shows the time and smaller dial indicates the steps count. It features an inbuilt Pedometer, which tracks the user’s step count, and a vibration motor, that alerts the user about the incoming calls, alarms as well as reminders when paired to the Android or iPhone through Bluetooth via low-power Bluetooth 4.0 on the front. This data can be displayed on the watch via the smartphone companion app.
This watch uses from CR2430 320mAh coin cell replaceable battery, that the company claims to offer up to 6 months of battery life.

The Xiaomi Mijia Quartz Watch comes in Black, White and Grey colored dials with matching straps except for the white which comes with a blue strap. The watch comes is priced at CNY 349 (USD 52 / Rs.3574 approx) and will go on sale in China, starting from July 17th.
