At its smarter living event happened in Banglore, Xiaomi launched its next generation of smartband—Xiaomi Mi Band 3, which is a successor to the Mi Band 2 launched two years ago. The Mi Band 3 comes with a slew of improved features such as newly improved activity tracking, heart-rate monitoring, Caller ID and more.

Xiaomi Mi Band 3 Smartband!

The Mi Band 3 comes with a 0.78-inch (128 x 80 pixels) OLED monochrome display with 2.5D curved edges and there’s a depressed button right below the display. It shows time & date, weather info, and app notifications like WhatsApp, Facebook and SMS messages. Hence, the display is covered with scratch-resistant glass along with an anti-fingerprint coating. Well, it features a 5ATM ratings i.e water resistant up to 50meters.

The Mi Band 3 comes with a heart-rate sensor that can monitor your heartbeat rate. There’s also has an improved activity tracking with real-time data for several tracking features include steps taken, distance traveled, calories burnt, and more. The smart band is connected to the smartphone via Bluetooth for notification prompts. So you can view the caller name on the band, and also directly reject the call with a long press of the button on the display itself.T he band is fueled by 110mAh battery that claims 20-days battery life.

Pricing and Availability

The Xiaomi Mi Band 3 is priced at Rs. 1999 and comes with a Black wristband. You can also buy Orange and Blue colors interchangeable straps as well. The Mi Band 3 will be available from and online starting from September 28. It will also be available offline via Mi Home stores soon.
