After multiple leaks over the internet for past few days, Samsung has now officially unveiled the two new smartphones in the Galaxy J Series — Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus and Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus, today. Both these two smartphones come with 6″-inch HD+ Infinity displays, Qualcomm Snapdragon 425 SoC, side-mounted fingerprint sensor and a 3,300mAh battery. Both the phone differs in its memory and the camera setup.

Samsung Galaxy J6 Plus

The Galaxy J6+  features a 6″-inch HD+ (1480 x 720 pixels) Infinity display with a 2.5D curved glass. Under the hood, it is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor (clocked at 1.4GHz) coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. On memory configuration, the smartphone comes in two variants – either a 3GB RAM with 32GB Internal storage or 4GB RAM with 64GB internal storage options. Both have an option for storage expansion up to 256GB via microSD card.

For imaging, the Galaxy J6+  sports a dual rear camera setup consisting of a 13-megapixel primary camera with f/1.9 aperture and a dual LED flash along with a 5-megapixel secondary camera with a f/2.2 aperture for depth-of-field on portrait shots. While on the front, there is an 8-megapixel front-facing camera with f/1.9 aperture and LED flash. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and the handset is fueled with a 3300mAh battery.

Samsung Galaxy J4 Plus

Like the Galaxy J6+, the Galaxy J4+ also comes with a 6″-inch HD+ (1480 x 720 pixels) Infinity display with a 2.5D curved glass back. Under the hood, it is powered by a Quad-Core Snapdragon 425 processor (clocked at 1.4GHz) coupled with Adreno 308 GPU. On memory configuration, the smartphone comes in two variants – either a 2GB RAM with 16GB Internal storage or 3GB RAM with 32GB internal storage options. Both have an option for storage expansion up to 256GB via microSD card.

For imaging, the Galaxy J4+  sports a 13-megapixel single rear camera with f/1.9 aperture and a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with f/2.2 aperture and LED flash. The phone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo and the handset is fueled with a 3300mAh battery.

The company hasn’t yet revealed the pricing details. Both of these two smartphones will be launching in India on September 25, 2018, and will be exclusively available on Amazon India. So stay tuned for pricing details once will know updated soon!
