Along with Surface Pro 6 tablet and Surface Laptop 2, Microsoft has also launched the second generation of an all-in-one desktop PC (a.k.a Surface Studio) called the— Surface Studio 2 AIO (all-in-one) PC, at its hardware event happened in the US. The Surface Studio 2 is the successor to the Surface Studio, that was launched back in April 2017. The second-generation of Surface studio comes with powerful and faster than its predecessor.

The Surface Studio 2 all-in-one PC comes with the same 28-inch PixelSense 10-point multi-touch display with 3:2 aspect ratio and having 4500×3000 pixels of resolution, which offers 192 ppi pixel density. In addition to that, it features a Surface pen with tilt sensibility and 4096 levels of pressure along with a surface dial for an active input. There’s a Zero Gravity Hinge on the Surface Studio 2 thus allows the users to tilt the display at any angles for the convenient drawing experience.

Under the hood, the new Surface Studio 2 is powered by 7th Gen Intel Core i7-7820HQ processor and coupled with either NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 6GB GDDR5 GPU or GTX 1070 8GB GDDR5 GPU for an intensive graphics performance. For memory configuration, the Surface Studio 2 comes in either 16GB of DDR4 RAM with 1TB SSD Storage or 32GB of DDR4 RAM with 2TB SSD storage options.

The Surface Studio 2 sports a 5-megapixel front-facing camera and also supports for Windows Hello fast face login with TPM chip for Enterprise-grade protection. For Audio, it features a Stereo 2.1 speakers with Dolby Audio Premium support alongside dual microphones for video conferencing. It also features an in-built XboxWireless, that lets the users connect their Xbox controller to the Surface Studio 2 wirelessly.
