Microsoft has finally launched its next generation of the Surface Pro, the Microsoft Surface Pro 6 with a 2-in-1 convertible tablet, at its hardware event happened in the US. The Surface Pro 6 is the successor to the Surface Pro 5, was launched back in 2017. The new Surface Pro 6 comes with an improved hardware performance, which is 67% faster than its predecessor.

The Surface Pro 6 features a 12.3-inch PixelSense 10-point multi-touch display with 3:2 aspect ratio and a 2736 x 1824 pixels of resolution with 267ppi pixel density. Further, the display has the Surface Pen support for input. Under the hood, the new Surface Pro is powered by the latest Intel 8th Gen Quad-core processors with either an i5 or i7, which is up to your choice. For an intensive graphics performance, it is configured with integrated UHD Graphics 620 GPU. For memory configuration, the Surface Pro 6 comes with either 8GB RAM or 16GB RAM coupled with up to 1TB SSD storage options.

For Camera, the new Surface Pro comes with both rear and front-facing cameras as for tablet, with an 8-megapixel rear-facing camera with AutoFocus and 5-megapixel front-facing camera, with Windows Hello fast face login. Both the cameras have 1080p video recording. For Audio, it features a 1.6 W stereo speakers with Dolby Audio Premium support. The entire internal hardware holds just 8.5 mm thickness size, thanks to the magnesium casing. The company is claimed to offer up to 13.5 hours of video playback.

The Microsoft Surface Pro 6 comes in two colors— Platinum and Black. The new Surface Pro pricing are listed below:

  • Surface Pro 6 with Intel Core i5, 8GB RAM + 256GB — $1,199 (Rs. 87,750 approx.)
  • Surface Pro 6 with Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM + 512GB — $1,899 (Rs. 1,38,980 approx.)
  • Surface Pro 6 with Intel Core i7, 16GB RAM + 1TB — $2,299 (Rs. 1,68,250 approx.)

All these new surface pro will go sale on starting from October 16, 2018, with the pre-bookings from October 3, 2018.
