After the LG Q7 and LGQ7+, LG Electronics has quietly launched another new mid-range smartphone under the X- Series in South Korea called LG X5 (2018), is a successor to the LG X5 that was launched back in June 2016. The main features of X5 (2018) are its huge 4000mAh Battery and LG Pay support. So here’s everything you need to know about the LG X5 (2018).
LG X5 (2018): Budget Oriented Smartphone
The X5 (2018) features a 5.5″-inch HD (720×1280 pixels) IPS LCD Display with standard 16:9 aspect ratio instead of modern 18:9 aspect ratio. Under the hood, it is powered by 64-bit MediaTek MT6750 Octa-Core Processor is clocked at 1.5GHz.The phone comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of eMMC storage, which is also expandable storage up to 64GB via microSD card. It runs on Android 8.0 Oreo. Coming to the camera department, it sports a 13-megapixel rear camera with LED flashlight at the back. On the front, there is a 5-megapixel front-facing camera with LED flashlight for beautiful selfies even in low-light conditions. It has a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor that not only unlocking the phone but also it can act as a shutter button lets you easily capture shots with a just tap on their finger. Connectivity options of the phone include 4G LTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS/ A-GPS and Micro-USB. It also comes with LG Pay support to conveniently make payments through compatible point-of-sale (PoS) machines. The handset packs 4500mAh battery with fast charging support.

Pricing and Availability
The New LG X5 comes in Moroccan Blue color only and it’s priced at 3,63,000 KRW ( Rs 22,800 approx.). Now, it will be only available in South Korea and other countries in coming weeks ( but we aren’t sure if it’s available to Indian market ) and it will be sold only via SK Telecom, KT, and LG U+ operators.
