After launching the mid-range Q7 and a budget Candy in India last week, LG on today has launched the new mid-range smartphone in the ‘Q’ series— LG Q Stylus+, in India. The main highlight of the smartphone is its stylus (pen) support. The other highlights are FullVision display, IP68 & MIL-STD 810G Certified, MediaTek SoC, and DTS:X for 7.1 channel surround 3D sound.
LG Q Stylus Plus
Talking about the specs, the Q Stylus+ comes with a 6.2-inch FHD+ (2160 x 1080 pixels) FullVision display with an aspect ratio of 18:9 and no notch on the top. It is equipped with IP68 certified for water-resistant and Dust-proof and MIL-STD 810G military-grade certified for durability. Under the hood, it is powered by an Octa-core MediaTek SoC, clocked at 1.5GHz and paired with Mali-T860 GPU.
Memory-wise, the phone comes in 4GB RAM and 64GB Internal storage, which can be further expandable storage up to 2TB with MicroSD. The phone runs on Android 8.0 Oreo with LG’s custom UI on top and the handset is fuelled by a 3,300mAh battery with fast charging support.
In the camera department, the Q Stylus+ sports a single 16-megapixel rear camera with LED Flash, PDAF [Phase Detection Auto-Focus], and an 8-megapixel front-facing camera. There’s also circular shaped rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, which can also act as camera shutter to take selfies easily. On audio, it has a DTS:X for up to 7.1 channel surround sound, when listening with earphones.
LG stylus Pen:
The LG stylus comes with handwritten input – will recognize and record handwritten notes. Additionally by using an intelligent palm rejection, which ensures it does not recognise one’s hand on the display. The Stylus can also be utilised to personalise captured images and videos to create animated GIFs. You can also write notes and memos even when the display is off.

Pricing and Availability
The LG Q Stylus+ comes in two colors shade— Aurora Black and Morrocan Blue. It is priced at Rs. 21990 and the phone will be available in India starting from tomorrow, September 5, 2018.
