In India, Sony Entertainment has an official broadcasting partner for 2018 FIFA World Cup. Its TV channels will broadcast the matches on the television. While in order to watch the World Cup matches live on your smartphone, then you will have to download the SonyLIV app on your Android or iOS device and subscribe to SonyLIV (Rs. 99 for a month) will be able to watch the live stream of the matches. For those who’re not interested in paid subscription will be able to catch the live action for absolutely but with a 5-minute delay and you’ll see in between a lot of advertisements. The matches will be streaming in four languages – English, Hindi, Bengali, and Malayalam.

JioTV App:

Bringing FIFA 2018 is exclusive to its users, Jio has announced free live streaming of 2018 Fifa World Cup matches via JioTV App starting from June 14 to July 15. You need to be on the Jio network and join prime membership to access JioTV service. So, in order to watch the World Cup live via JioTV app, you’ll have to log-in with your Jio account on the JioTV app and search for the Sony TEN channels to watch the matches live.

Airtel will also offer free live streaming of FIFA 2018 world cup to its users via Airtel TV App. The live streaming will be available in various local languages including Hindi. The Airtel users will have to upgrade their Airtel TV app to the latest version available on Google’s Play Store to live stream FIFA World Cup. Here, all the content on Airtel TV app is free for Postpaid users, and for Prepaid users until December 2018.
