ASUS on Friday has unveiled its new range of ZenBook series— ZenBook 13, 14, and 15, Zenbook Flip 13 and Flip 15, ZenBook Pro 14 and Pro 15, ZenBook S alongside a Zen AiO all-in-one PC, at the ongoing IFA 2018 event. All these laptops are powered by the latest 8th Gen Intel Core processors.
ZenBook 13, 14 and 15
Starting off with the ZenBook 13, 14 and 15 models, featuring a 13.3″-inch, 14″-inch and 15.6″-inch NanoEdge displays with 95% screen-to-body ratio. All these three laptops come with almost frameless offering ultraslim bezels. These laptops are powered by the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7 processors with integrated Gigabit Wi-Fi optimised for Intel Wireless AC 9650 and paired up to NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 Max-Q graphics handling graphics. Additionally, it all equipped with an ErgoLift hinge mechanism, while the ZenBook 13 and ZenBook 15 features a new NumberPad—a LED-illuminated numeric keypad built into the touchpad.
ZenBook Flip 13 and Flip 15
Coming to ZenBook Flip 13 and 15 are convertible laptops, come with a 13.3″-inch, and 15.6″-inch Pantone-validated [—for accurate colour rendering] displays with a 90% screen-to-body ratio. Both these two laptops are powered by 8th gen Intel Core i7 processors with integrated Gigabit Wi-Fi optimized for Intel Wireless-AC 9560, coupled with NVIDIA GTX 1050 Max-Q graphics for handling graphics. Both these models feature a world-facing camera with an inbuilt Windows Hello.
ZenBook Pro 14 and Pro 15
Talking about the ZenBook Pro 14 and Pro 15 are high-performance professional-grade laptops, both the two laptops come with 14″-inch and 15.6″-inch NanoEdge FHD displays with Asus latest ScreenPad technology, which turns the touchpad into a second screen with a host of interesting features and shortcuts to different apps. Additionally, the company has included few new applications like Adobe Sign, Handwriting and Speech Typer. In terms of design language, the laptop looks ultra-slim and sleeky. Both these two laptops are powered by the latest 8th generation Intel Core i7-8565U processors coupled with NVIDIA GeForce GTX1050 Max-Q discrete GPU for handling the graphics. It all are equipped with an ErgoLift hinge, which allows better sound output and heat management. Both these two featuring fast face login and built-in support for Windows Cortana and Amazon Alexa voice-recognition.
The ZenBook S (UX391FA) is a premium ultraportable designed laptop and features a 13.3″-inch display and powered by the latest 8th Intel Core i7-8565U. Further, it comes with a military-grade ‘MIL-STD-810G ‘ certified for durability. The company claims that the laptop can deliver up to 20-hour battery life.
Zen AiO 27 all-in-one PC
Along with laptops, Asus has also introduced the Zen AiO 27 all-in-one PC. It features a 27-inch 4K UHD NanoEdge Pantone-validated display with 100% sRGB colour gamut and a Delta-E colour accuracy. The AiO desktop now comes with a new design, where it houses all the components at the base, rather behind the display. The PC is powered by the latest 8th Generation Intel Core i7 processor and NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1050 graphics. Additionally, the Zen AiO 27 features Qi wireless charging port at its base for fast charging of smartphones.
